The below figures are worrying, and they are thought to be a lot higher because unfortunately, mental health continues to be a taboo subject.
Work can be rewarding and can give us a sense of purpose and connection, but it can also be an environment where pressures can be high, and people can experience work-related stress and other mental health issues.
A high workload, lack of support, violence, threats or bullying and changes at work are all factors that are causes of work-related stress, depression or anxiety.
